FashionSpark is one of the biggest, most well attended parts of SparkCon. Raleigh’s fashion scene struts its stuff and it is always a highlight of the conference. Leading up to the main event you can help fund the fashion show by attending a brunch this Sunday morning at Poole’s. Also, starting tonight check out the window displays around the city, showcasing some of the designers from the show.
Holly Aiken’s new store in Downtown Raleigh is open and tonight will be the grand opening party. A raffle for a free custom designed bag and artwork are only a few of the reasons to stop by from 6-10pm at the Hargett Street store.
It has been a while since we have seen a good marketing video in the Raleigh area. A couple have tried but missed by a mile. But with the new animated video for the Frank Harmon designed AIA Headquarters, a simple and nicely crafted product has been created.

Between the opening of our new convention center and the third annual Raleigh Wide Open festival, there will be plenty of activity on Fayetteville street this weekend. As you’re making the rounds be sure to stop by the opening of an exciting new exhibit at the Raleigh City Museum. Titled The [R]evolution of Media, it tracks the history and development of newspaper, radio and television in Raleigh and will open to the general public this Friday.
