You can vote early until Saturday May 6, so why wait in line at your polling place on election day? You can also use this opportunity to register and vote, an option unavailable on election day itself, if you missed the registration deadline.

Members of Cornerstone were apparently responsible for fake citizen groups in support of developing the everglades. Expect to see more stories on ‘astroturf’ in Raleigh in 2008.
Presidential hopeful Barack Obama will campaign in Raleigh Thursday, April 17th, at the Kerr Scott Building on Blue Ridge Rd. Grab a ticket between 9:30 am and 9 pm Wednesday at the campaign headquarters, located at 130 E. Morgan St., and skip out on your lunch break to make the talk scheduled for 12:30 pm.
