The Panel will be moderated by Jeanne Tedrow, CEO of Passage Home, and the Panelists will include Susanna Birdsong of DHIC, and Onea Royster of Passage Home, as well as someone from Habitat for Humanity. The aim of the panel is to delve into the connections between housing and poverty in Wake County.
Given the central role housing has played and continues to play in
the current economic turbulence, we think this is a timely issue, and
interacts directly with our theme of Economic Security and Financial
Literacy. The panel will be a chance to hear from people who are
working daily on the issue through direct services and advocacy, to
learn from their experiences.
