Capital Club 16 Restaurant and Bar is a(n) American (New) restaurant located in Raleigh.
Our food was just “OK”: too much lettuce garnish, too greasy potato pancakes, too sweet sauce and too bland horseradish dip for the too dry, blah Keibasa. The crispy garden skilled save the night but again, why add lettuce? Will go back for a drink and to sit by the great big windows to see the city passing by.
We were quite happy with our dinner of appetizers and salads, sharing the cheese/bread plate which came with a delicious vinegary potato salad, red cabbage slaw, and sliced cucumbers, and the potato pancakes which went surprisingly well with a wonderful fresh applesauce and greens with fresh fruit. The butter lettuce wedge and Caesar salads with grilled chicken & pretzel croutons, were fantastic. Service was knowledgeable and the bartender was friendly. Good crowd on a Wednesday in a beautifully-designed restaurant that reminded my girlfriend of some places in Paris!
