Hayes Barton Cafe and Dessertery

Hayes Barton is always delicious with a great atmosphere.  It can get packed so getting a reservation would be a good idea on weekend nights.

I have not eaten at a more consistently delicious restaurant in Raleigh than Hayes Barton.  If you have only had lunch here and haven’t had dinner here, you are missing out.  Their filet is flawless.  Grilled shrimp that reminds you of why we eat food from the sea.  Coconut cake that is the best this old southern boy has ever eaten.  And, they poor a strong cocktail!

Hayes Barton is a drug-store diner cum restaurant.  Sandwiches in the day and good steaks and rich desserts at night.
