If I could get away with giving no stars, I’d do so, however I’ll give it 1 for the salad, which was fine.  As for the entrees, this restaurant needs someone who knows how to put together foods to deliver something edible.  Being that there were 2 in our party that are vegan, we decided to visit on my birthday. as they had a few vegan items on the menu. I ordered the chicken, and was informed that it wouldn’t be available for at least 30 minutes, so I opted for the catch of the day as most of the rest of the menu at that time consisted of Goat entrees - not my favorite cuisine..  Speckled Trout, I believe was the catch, which came out greasy and tasteless.  The vegan shepherd’s pie tasted like the Loma Linda TVP that you get out of a can and there was absolutely no seasoning.  Had to call the waiter over as he was chatting with 2 others at the bar (his butt to our face the whole time) and sent the trout back.  He offered the chicken as an option at this point, but I was disgusted with the whole experience and the birthday girl left with no dinner.  The manager never came over to speak with us & the server said under the circumstances, they wouldn’t charge us for the trout, as if doing us a great favor - mighty big of them.  Needless to say both myself & my husband have been restaurant managers for over 20 years.  We ended up at another restaurant downtown & totally enjoyed a tapas meal.  Never going back there again.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and having a place that is local, fresh, seasonal.  They need to work on the food a little more and get some more flavor.  Very promising—will go back.

How refreshing - an intimate, relaxed neighborhood restaurant offering a unique menu and highlighting fresh, local ingredients!  We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience - from the crab cake and zucchini latkes appetizers to the sauteed prawn with chorizo entree.  Going back to meet friends there for lunch - to further explore the menu and try dessert.
