For over 30 years, Sadlacks has served Raleigh’s best and freshest heroes (including legendary vegetarian selections) while entertaining the populace with the region’s finest live musical entertainment. The food is always fresh, using only the best meats, cheeses and vegetables cut daily. A sandwich shop by day and a bar by night, Sadlacks is a place for all-comers. It has employed many of the areas finest musicians, including members of Whiskeytown, Six String Drag, Patty Hurst Shifter, Corrosion of Conformity and many others. Stop by for a sandwich and a cold beer. Enjoy an afternoon on the porch. Bring your dog or your children. You never know who you may run into at Sadlacks.

I have been going to Sadlack’s on and off for 20 years. Great food and great people. It is especially a great place when the weather is warm enough to hang out in the ouside patio. vI did hear that the owner, Rose, has applied recently to sell liquor.
The food is surprisingly delicious here. You can write on the bathroom walls with chalk, which is fun. No liquor though… hugely disappointing.
