Spize Cafe

Dinner at Spize Friday night was a fabulous surprise! Interesting selection, fresh ingredients, attentive but not overbearing service and a good meal. Started with the tastey spicy eggplant app. and enjoyed the prawn and steak lemongrass broth founduee. Delicious paired with the Reisling!

spize is great - fills you up but doesn’t weigh you down and has an incredible selection.  their bread has that european texture which is a wonderful foil to the asian flavors.  dare i say it?  bravo!

Spize is a wonderful, fresh experience that is a wonderful alternative downtown.  You can get veggie and meat vietnamese food with a West coast twist.  The ingredients are super high quality - try the Roasted red pepper and eggplant sub!

Absolutely delicious.  They aren’t open for dinner but one or two nights a week….but if you can get there when they are open you’ve got to try them.  Nothing else like it.

Loved my lunch there.  My mouth is still tingling from the spicy jalepenos on my baguette. Mmmmm

Other things I loved: the togo container and disposable utensils are compostable.  they did a great job with the interior design.  and best of all… the staff is friendly and happy to be there! 

I think this place deserves local support and adds a wonderful addition to the “grab lunch and run” options in downtown.
