Glascock…More Than Just a Painful Street Name

I always dread the point of a phone call when I get the inevitable snicker because I have to tell the operator at the phone/cable/etc company what street I live on. Glascock Street. Turns out it has some great historical significance, and was not just someone’s idea of an annoying joke.

Natives often lament over their closings, and fondly remember the days you could go see a movie on Fayetteville at the Ambassador Theatre, and get fresh milk home delivery from the Pine State Creamery.
