Cafe Carolina, at the corner of Clark and Daniels Streets, offers a bright, relaxed atmosphere, whether you’re looking to meet up with a friend or settle down for a few hours with your laptop.
While the lunch and dinner items are a tad overpriced and very mediocre (go around the corner to Village Deli if it’s chicken salad you want), the pastries are excellent and the coffee is better than what some area coffee shops serve. Don’t leave without trying their signature sweet potato biscuits.
Cafe Carolina also serves a weekend brunch Saturdays and Sundays until 2 p.m., by far the best time of the week to visit.
While the crowd is typically ITB families or suited businessman, non-prepsters alike should, and do, take advantage of this spacious, convenient, and relaxing restaurant.
Free wi-fi.
I’ve gone to Cafe Carolina several times, and each time it has been disappointing and overpriced. If you want a nice lunch in Cameron Village, try the Village Deli instead.
