I’ve only been to Abyssinia once, but can’t want to bring friends to this well-hidden surprise. My experience at Abyssinia was the first time I had ever tried Ethiopian food. We got a combo platter and the food was delicious. The ambience was pretty lackluster, especially considering that the place was just about empty when we arrived. I didn’t know what to expect of the food, but we were pleasantly surprised.
Abyssinia is killer- you get a nice variety and an authentic Ethiopian experience. I recommend a combo platter- but going all veggie is great too. Keep in mind you share a main platter so if you don’t like that kind of thing you might try somewhere else.
