The N&O reported yesterday the death of Marta Brewer. Brewer was the co-founder of Tasca Brava and most recently cooked at Dos Taquitos Centro.

Remedy Diner, a small restaurant soon to open on Hargett street, launched their website.  Included is a menu with many affordable and tasty looking options.

The long wait will finally come to an end this week and Jibarra in the Downtown Raleigh Depot will open its doors for lunch and dinner.

More beer a-brewin’ but still no open sign a-welcomin’ ...yet.
