Best place in Raleigh for good authentic French-style pastries. I probably wouldn’t come here for a “quick coffee shop” trip. But for a relaxing, indulging dessert, you can’t go wrong here.
My new favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Great presentation and flavor. Absolutely delicious. Nice atmosphere and upbeat. I enjoyed it a great deal!
Great bar food. Good service. Great little neighborhood watering hole. 4 stars—-I’ll give them 5 when they join the 21st century and get rid of the smoking.

Great food. Very fancy and delicious. Too expensive to eat at regularly, but great for a special occassion!
More casual than some of the other downtown Italian places, but definitely very tasty. Several dishes with a distinct Sicilian vibe. Try the Shrimp Diavalo for an extra “kick”!
Your basic cheap Mexican place, but very good. Out of all the El Rodeo’s in Raleigh, this is my favorite…good service, good location.
