I have been going here for some time now. I love Tasca Brava! Every time I go I get the guy running the restaurant as my server. He is from Spain and is very knowledgeable about the food. It was also my understanding that his mother is back in the kitchen cooking! We barely even look at the menu and instead let him choose a few tapas for us, and we haven’t been steered wrong yet. The sangria is excellent and I highly recommend it.

I used to head to Lynnwood almost every Monday night for the $.25 wings. The wings are great and they have many sauces to choose from.  The pizzas here are really, really good as well. The place can get packed, especially on Mondays. I had to stop going because our group grew too large and we’d have to wait a long time to get a table large enough; which isn’t a knock against them. The manager is really nice and accommodating, but the service can be lackluster at times.

I love Lilly’s Pizza!

I had not heard about The Pit until I saw “Man v. Food” on television, and I went for the first time this past Saturday. I was very impressed because I thought it would be a hole-in-the-wall but it was very nice inside! I even liked the sweet tea, which actually tasted like tea instead of pure sugar. I’ve told all of my friends to go and I hope to return soon and often.

Pita Delite is one of the places I miss most since moving from North to East Raleigh. It is a very friendly place that serves really good food.

Caffe Luna is one of my favorite Raleigh restaurants. It is romantic enough for a Valentine’s Day dinner or anniversary and is one of the places I like to bring family from out of town. My fiancee loves the pasta stuffed with a little bit of pear and orders it every time we go. They have great good, good wine, and tasty desserts. I can not recommend this place enough.
