I have now dined there four times, and I’ve never been disappointed! The service has been very friendly and they make ever effort to ensure the customer is satisfied. Plus, the entire restaurant and bar is non-smoking!! What a treat!!! The salmon dinner is excellent and so is the fish and chips. Just tried their brownie dessert last night (chocolate heaven!). The only negative is that on some nights, it gets so crowded that it is very hard to hear the person talking right next to you. If there was some way they could improve the noise dampening in there, they’d have the perfect restaurant. Ample parking as well as it is located in the Brierdale shopping center. I’ll gladly go back to dine there again!
I dined there last week for the first time and was definitely happy with my dining experience there! The sushi was very fresh, the staff very friendly, and I was impressed with the very quick service of sushi. I’ll probably never go to Waraji again after having eaten at this place (it is so much better!!!!).
I’ve been a fan of Solomon’s on Six Forks road for many years, but have been disappointed by the food quality at the Brier Creek location. On one occassion, the chicken was definitely overdone in the pasta dishes and on another occassion, my favorite lentil pilaf, had lentils that weren’t quite cooked (still crunchy). I’ve also found the dinners to be a bit pricey, when you can walk just a few steps away and dine at the Trali Irish pub (get more food for dinner at a lot less money, the salmon dinner is a good example of comparison between the two places). I think if the owner pays a bit more attention to the quality at the Brier Creek location, it will come up to the level of food quality I have come to expect from the Six Forks location.
