We have tried desperately to find a good pizza delivery spot in N Raleigh, and out of all that we have tried (Max’s, Schiano’s, more I can’t remember), this place was the hands-down winner. Unfortunately, they took over an hour to deliver the pizza. In fairness, I received a call from the manager after 30 minutes saying that there had been a power outage, and he offered two free desserts as an apology. The power outage story was a bit dubious, but at least they called and apologized, which is more than you get from most places. We’ll order here again.
on Stromboli's 08/03/09Raleigh Times is everything a bar should be. Unbelievable selection of beer (though I wish they would carry some lower-end stuff for the tight budget weekends), great location, and top notch bar food. Service was fast even though the bar was packed. Would have preferred a slightly more affable waitress, but she was busy so honestly I can’t complain.
