Upwards of 1,000 gathered last Wednesday at Reynolds Coliseum on the NC State campus for the 2010 Art to Wear Fashion Show.
Art to Wear, held this year at Reynolds Coliseum, upped the ante with a new venue and bigger and better talent than ever seen in years past. The art walking down the runway truly inspired.

Nina Garcia would have had a field day with Art to Wear this year. In the years since Art to Wear began, Project Runway, in its 5th season, has turned all of us into amateur fashion critics. The production values of the show, have become so polished; the professional MC, excellent sound and lighting, and a nice big stage made for plenty of great seats. Art to Wear 2008: NCSU’s College Of Design doesn’t really have a fashion program. Neither does the world renowned College of Textiles. While Fashion Design may be conspicuously missing from the respective college’s programs, you would never know it watching Art to Wear. The showcase of young designers has grown from humble beginnings in 2001 to something big, something chic and just hot.
