From the massive U2 show at Carter Finley Stadium to intimate street festivals in the downtown area, here are a few of our favorite live concerts of the year in Raleigh.
Flying Tiger Sound, the Annual’s label, Terpsikhore, and WKNC team up to make something special.
The Colossus of Rhodes was a massive statue of the god Helios, about the size of the Statue of Liberty, and it was erected somewhere around 290 BC to commemorate a great victory. The Colossus of Raleigh is a massive force of metal guitar, high-pitched metal god shrieking, and it will rock your face off (and have you laughing your ass off) Wednesday (May 27) at the Pour House.
The finalized line-up reveals some other surprises…
That’s the kind of shout-out we like to see.
