2011 Raleigh Elections Highlighted in New York Times Presidential Election Article
The race for Raleigh mayor and Wake County Public School Board are both examples of how the Obama campaign has mounted up early for next year’s elections. Despite two Republican candidates in the race, Independent Nancy McFarlane (who was endorsed by local Democrats, and about everyone else) won the mayor election quite easily.
