Two of Raleigh’s newest Downtown Residents, Citrix and Red Hat, have been listed as Top 50 companies to work for in 2013 by career website Glassdoor.
We didn’t miss this bit of news, but were just caught up too much in the Hopscotch whirlwind to post it. It’s great to see that not only are tech companies like Red Hat and Citrix coming to downtown, they are bringing culture and attitude with them.
As speculated back in June, the data sharing tech company Citrix will indeed be moving into Raleigh’s Warehouse District.
This morning in a press conference hosted by Mayor McFarlane the city announced that Red Hat would officially keep its headquarters in Raleigh and take over the former Progress Energy Building.
Red Hat comes downtown and the Chamber of Commerce starts thinking open source and open business is the ticket to growth.
