Thursday night Raleigh’s most homegrown conference, SPARKcon, launches with ideaSPARK featuring 10 influential Triangle Residents sharing their big ideas for their community.
filmSPARK is a tour of force this year- with a heavy lineup of industry pros and forward thinking panels. filmSPARK starts off with The Dude Who Took Down Viacom a conversation about copyright law, continues with a panel of local experts on the NC film industry and closes with 13 local film shorts.
As the fourth annual SPARKcon, many of the events are scrambling to put final touches on lineups, pull together volunteer crews, and get printed material disseminated, to list just a few things happening behind the scenes.
SparkCon started as a conference focused on ideaSpark- the nucleus of the conference where in past years members of the community met together to talk about projects and ideas that can help make the area a better place.
gamingSPARK is SPARKcon’s newest addition for 2009. This part of the conference is dedicated to showing off locally produced games.
This fall SparkCon comes together again for its 4th incarnation. You can showcase your creative work at SparkCon. Find all the info below the fold.
